The Eastern Dioceses, formed in October 2019, as a result of the growing number of families joining our church. We are proud to be a member of the Independent Old Catholic Church and dedicated to its leaders.
Our Mission Statement
The Eastern Diocese has the mission to continue the growth of our church and the independent sacrament movement; by demonstrating God’s love by opening the table to all those who believe, regardless of the choices they made in life.
Our Vision Statement
The Eastern Diocese has the Vision to demonstrate God’s love and return Christ to the heart of all Christians, sharing the words of Christ and the wisdom of the early church fathers.
We are the same church founded by our Lord Jesus Christ, our Savior with full apostolic succession. Also, we base our traditions on the teaching and the wisdom of the early church fathers. Further, we believe in one Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church. We are Catholic, not Roman Catholic; but still recognized by that church. The Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith in its Declaration, Dominus Jesus, dated 6 August 2000 states of these “particular Churches”
Therefore, there exists a single Church of Christ, which subsists in the Catholic Church, governed by the Successor of Peter and by the Bishops in communion with him. The Churches which, while not existing in perfect communion with the Catholic Church, remain united to her by means of the closest bonds, that is, by apostolic succession and a valid Eucharist, are true particular Churches. Therefore, the Church of Christ is present and operative also in these Churches.
